These first images are a beautiful cherry on top after a few busy weeks. In collaboration with PeerCreatie, we created a stunning videomapping on the Grote Kerk in Apeldoorn to commemorate 76 years of liberation. Despite the evening curfew, many people took the opportunity to "walk the dog" and catch a glimpse of the display. It was a spectacle and an absolute pleasure to create.
Videomapping created by the LiGHT-UP collective, in collaboration with PeerCreatie, projected on the Grote Kerk in Apeldoorn.
This projection project was part of the commemoration of 76 years of liberation, using the iconic Grote Kerk in Apeldoorn as a canvas. The goal was to honor this historic milestone and create a moment of reflection and celebration for the community.
The LiGHT-UP collective, together with PeerCreatie, designed and executed a videomapping display that transformed the facade of the Grote Kerk into a storytelling canvas. The projections combined historical themes and artistic visuals, creating a compelling and emotional tribute to liberation.
The project used high-end projection technology to create large-scale visuals on the Grote Kerk, engaging the public in a socially distanced but meaningful way. By providing a visual spectacle during a time of restrictions, the project offered a shared experience that brought the community together while honoring history.
